The Selling Process

STEP 1. Interview Real Estate Agents - Call Me

You want to get the most out of the sale of your home.  The best place to start is by interviewing Agents.  Bill Gassett says is best "Smart home sellers understand there is a big difference from so many of the “post and pray” real estate agents that do not much more than put a sign in the yard, place it in the MLS and pray. My Process

First, we would have a no pressure, no obligation meet & greet.  This is where I gather information about you, your goals, your property and you have the opportunity to get to know me.  It will be easy and fun!

Next is the walk-thru.  We will walk through your home together.  This initial walk through is pure gold.  Since this is my first time in your home, I have the ability to walk through your home with the same eyes as a potential buyer and a real estate professional.  I will take notes to prepare my marketing strategy.

Finally, we have our pre-listing meeting.  This is where I provide you with my detailed marketing strategy for your home.  I may include things such as, suggestions for minor fixes, how to stage your home, a Comprehensive Market Analysis, which includes a price range that will be our launching point for deciding how to price your home, and finally my personalized approach for marketing your home beyond adding it to the MLS.

 

STEP 2. Transaction Management

It begins with good communication.  Based on your favorite mode of communication, I will keep you up to date on all activities.  And when it comes to buyer communication, I have you covered, a quick response is key!

There are a lot of tasks that need to be completed, some will be your task but most tasks will be taken care of by me.  Here is a summarized list of what I do in the background while you sip on a lovely chilled glass of Chardonnay.

  • Buyer Communications

  • Negotiations

  • Draft and manage contracts

  • Manage the schedule

  • Review Title Insurance

  • Manage the inspection process

  • Manage the appraisal process

  • Coordinate closing

  • Ensure that all of the "i's" are dotted and "t's" crossed for an easy close.

STEP 3. The Follow-up
